Maintenance Due

For the e-bike owner

You ride the RadRover 6 Plus to work and to the store. Belt cleaned every 500 miles, brake pads every 1,000, winter battery storage on the calendar. Tell Muse the last belt service and the miles on the dash. The board does the arithmetic.

One bike on the board. Belt cleaned on the RadRover 6 Plus every 500 miles. Brake pads checked every 1,000 miles. Battery storage on the calendar. That is the whole list, and it lives on one due board.

You know the odometer. Last belt service on the RadRover 6 Plus was at Rivertown E-Bike Co, 1150 miles and 19.50 on the invoice. The dash reads 1420, so 230 miles are left. Say those numbers to Muse once and the row is written. You ride about 150 miles a month, which is about six weeks of commuting. Book the shop for that week and the belt gets its bath before the miles run out.

Friday, ask Muse what's due on the RadRover 6 Plus. The belt cleaning comes back with the 230 miles left and Rivertown E-Bike Co as the last shop. Brake pads come back with their own miles left: last checked at 500 and the dash at 1420 leaves 80 miles to the next 1,000-mile check. The Worker subtracts and names what is left, and no model sits in that path.

The calendar lines keep their dates. Winter battery storage is the November 1 line: the battery comes off the RadRover 6 Plus, charges to about half, and sits on the shelf in the house, not the freezing garage. The mile lines keep their cadence too. A late weekend ride does not slide the next brake-pad check; it is logged when it happened, and the cadence does not drift.

Your shop preference is one ask too. Say it once: always use Rivertown E-Bike Co on the RadRover 6 Plus. Muse writes it, and the next belt booking starts at Rivertown without you naming the shop again.

The board can call ChatGPT too. Subscribe once and ChatGPT hears when the miles you log put the belt cleaning on the board, in a signed webhook naming the job and how late. You did not have to ask first.

The day the bike sells, say it once: sold. Muse archives the e-bike and the due board drops it that day. Every belt row, brake line, and shop you logged stays in the history. If the deal falls through, one ask puts it back on the board.
